History Of The BASH

The BASH began an annual event starting in 1990 sponsored by the Ballard High School Foundation under the guidance of Dick Lee, Class of 1961.

The PTSA became involved in the BASH in 1999 and began sole sponsorship in 2002. Starting with the 2002 BASH, $865K has been raised by the BASH. These funds, along with other fundraising activities, have enabled the Ballard High School PTSA to grant thousands of dollars to support academics and enrichment at BHS.
