Hi BHS people! This is a bit long, but bear with me! Last year, my daughter was in 9th grade and, even as a great student, she hit some challenging times with staying organized. We quickly discovered that the organization skills in place from middle school were insufficient. Desperate to find a solution before her grades went south, I developed a one-page organizational training tool along with a parent-student communication strategy that cured her struggle and dramatically reduced the tensions at home over assignments and time management. She grew so much by year end, and now in 10th grade she manages her time very effectively and independently. Since it's now a couple weeks into this new year, I want to offer to share this tool with any Ballard family. All I ask in return is your feedback after trying it. I am interested in eventually publishing to a larger market, but with only one child I could really use feedback from other families. Feel free to message me if you find a need to train up your student organization and/or communication with your student. Thanks for reading this long post, and here's to a great year for all our students! ... See MoreSee Less
